Built For What's Coming

The next generation of open-world games lands on console this November. The PC releases follow — and they will ask more of your machine than anything before them. QSN builds the rig now, in Dubai, so it is ready when they arrive.

01 — The Timing

Console First. PC Later.

The pattern for this class of title has held for over a decade: consoles get it first, the PC version arrives roughly a year afterwards, and it arrives with uncapped frame rates, higher texture budgets and ray tracing switched on. That gap is not a delay to wait out. It is the window in which to build properly, buy components on a normal price curve rather than a launch-week one, and have a machine that is finished and tested long before it is needed.

Now — Nov 2026

Build Window

Current-generation GPUs and DDR5 platforms are mature and widely available in the UAE. Specify and assemble without launch-period scarcity pricing.

19 November 2026

Console Launch

The announced release window for current-generation consoles. Expect GPU demand across the region to firm up in the weeks either side of it.

Expected Late 2027

PC Release

Historically the PC edition follows a year or so behind, with the highest settings targeting hardware that does not exist at console launch. A machine built now to headroom is still current then.

02 — What Actually Matters

Four Things That Decide The Frame Rate

Open-world titles at this scale are not bottlenecked by the single number on the box. They are bottlenecked by memory capacity, asset streaming and sustained thermals. These are the four decisions that determine whether a build holds up in three years or gets quietly replaced.

01

VRAM Before Raw Speed

Dense open worlds run out of video memory before they run out of shader performance. A card with more VRAM and slightly fewer cores will age better than the reverse, because once textures spill to system memory the frame time collapses regardless of how fast the GPU is. In the current generation 16 GB is both the floor and what the mainstream cards carry; 32 GB appears only at flagship level.

Target: 16 GB minimum · 32 GB at flagship
02

CPU And Memory Bandwidth

Simulation, traffic, crowd logic and physics are CPU work, and the 1% low frame times that make a game feel smooth are almost entirely a CPU and memory story. DDR5 at a properly configured speed profile is worth more here than two extra cores.

Target: 32 GB DDR5 · tuned profile enabled
03

Storage Is Not Optional

Modern engines stream assets continuously from disk rather than loading a level once. On a mechanical drive or a slow SATA SSD the world visibly arrives late. An NVMe drive is a requirement, not an upgrade, and installs of 150 GB and beyond are now routine.

Target: 2 TB NVMe Gen4 or faster
04

Power And Thermals In Dubai

An undersized power supply and a hot room are the two failure modes we see most often in the UAE. Transient GPU spikes trip marginal units, and ambient heat in summer removes the thermal headroom a build was benchmarked with in a showroom.

Three Starting Points

Every QSN build is specified individually — these are reference bands benchmarked against UAE component pricing, not fixed packages. Use them to locate your budget, then change anything. We will tell you honestly where a cheaper component performs identically and where the extra spend genuinely returns frames.

04 — Why QSN

We Build Networks. The PC Is The Easy Part.

Most of what ruins an online session is not the machine. It is jitter on a shared connection, a router placed inside a cupboard, a wireless link doing work that a cable should be doing, and neighbouring devices competing for the same channel. QSN designs and manages networks for villas, offices and government sites across the UAE, which means the build and the line it sits on are handled by the same engineers.

Every machine leaves with clean cable management, a configured BIOS, a fresh operating system, current drivers and a documented stress test. Components carry their manufacturers' warranties and QSN stays your single point of contact. Delivery across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

05 — Questions

Build FAQs

What people ask before commissioning a machine for the next generation.

Should I buy a PC now or wait for the PC release?
Build now if you play other things in the meantime, wait if this one title is the only reason you are buying. The PC edition of a major open-world game typically arrives about a year after the console version, and hardware bought now will still be capable then — GPU generations move, but a well-specified machine with enough VRAM and a strong power and thermal foundation does not fall off a cliff in twelve months. What you gain by building now is a normal price curve rather than launch-window demand, and time to test the machine properly before it matters.
How much VRAM do I actually need?
Sixteen gigabytes is the sensible floor, and in the current generation it is also what the mainstream and upper-tier cards actually carry — the next step up is thirty-two gigabytes at flagship level, with nothing in between. The reason is straightforward: when a dense open world exhausts video memory, texture data is pushed back to system memory across the PCIe bus, and the result is stuttering rather than a gently lower frame rate. It is the single specification where buying slightly ahead of current requirements pays for itself, because unlike shader performance it cannot be recovered by lowering one setting.
Is a 4K monitor worth it, or should I stay at 1440p?
At typical desk distances on a 27-inch panel, a high-refresh 1440p display is the better buy for most people and it frees a substantial amount of budget for the GPU. Move to 4K when the panel is 32 inches or larger, or when the machine is also used for content work where resolution has a purpose beyond gaming. Buying a 4K panel and then being forced to run at reduced settings to sustain a playable frame rate is the most common way people end up disappointed with an otherwise good build.
Will WiFi be good enough, or do I need a cable?
For single-player it rarely matters. For competitive online play, a cable is worth more than almost any component upgrade, because the problem is not average speed but jitter — the variation in latency between packets — and wireless links inherently vary more than wired ones. Modern WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 on a clean channel with the access point in the same room is genuinely close, but a run of Cat6 to the desk removes the question entirely. If pulling a cable is not practical, the fix is an access point positioned properly, not a stronger router.
Can I upgrade an existing PC instead of replacing it?
Often, yes, and we will say so rather than sell a full build. A machine on a DDR5 platform with a recent CPU usually needs only a GPU, a larger NVMe drive and sometimes a power supply to reach current standards. The point at which upgrading stops making sense is an older socket, because a new CPU there requires a new motherboard, which requires new memory, at which stage you have replaced everything except the case. Send us your current specification and we will tell you which of the two you are looking at.
Does QSN deliver outside Dubai?
Yes. QSN builds and delivers across the UAE including Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Tell us your location with your requirements and logistics are confirmed alongside the quotation. Quotations are typically valid for three to five days because component pricing moves quickly, and the final figure is confirmed with a compatibility check before anything is ordered.
